The particular watch in question appears to be a small iteration of the model, measuring just 20 mm by 20 mm. This Santos Demoiselle also has plenty of bling, thanks to the brilliant-cut diamonds set within its 18-karat yellow-gold case, as well as an 18-karat yellow-gold bracelet. (You⁘re getting a diamond on the crown, too). The square-shaped timepiece is also equipped with a quartz movement, a silvered dial, and blue-steel hands marking the minutes and the hours; plus, it offers up a water resistance of about 30 meters (nearly 100 feet).
And though the Santos Demoiselle is no longer for sale via Cartier, you can snag it on a variety of secondary sites: SwissWatchExpo currently has the one (Ref. WF9001Y7) up for grabs for $17,160 (though, if the Taylor Swift effect comes into play, it may be sold out soon enough.) WATCH
The Santos collection can trace its origins back to 1904, when Louis Cartier was inspired to create a watch for his pal Alberto Santos-Dumont, a Brazilian aviator. The Santos Demoiselle came much later, in 2008, but it still retains those classic design elements, making it the perfect selection for Swift⁘s engagement photographs. Both the singer and Kelce posted a carousel of images to celebrate the event, showing off the couple surrounding by lush trees and an abundance of florals.
The engagement is just one of many changes happening for Swift and Kelce this year. Earlier this month, the couple was rumored to have toured two lavish estates in Northeast Ohio⁘s Eastside suburbs. A new home, of course, would just add to Swift⁘s already expansive property portfolio , which includes abodes in Nashville, Rhode Island, and more. That just means the couple has plenty of places to celebrate their recent engagement, then.
