"Merry chrithmath from our family to yours!!!!!!!" Teigen, 40, captioned an Instagram video on Sunday, December 21. The clip was titled: "Growing Candy Canes (Gone Wrong)."
Teigen and her four kids — Luna, 9, Miles, 7, Esti, 2, and Wren, 2 — put crushed up oreos in a flower pots to "grow" their own candy canes. When the kids went to sleep each night, Teigen added the holiday treat to the pot, showing how they have "grown." On day three, there was a major mishap.
"Been working on candy cane growing. Tried to open one of these bad boys. My tooth fell off," Teigen said, showing the camera that one of her front teeth was missing. "It's a veneer. I have the whole piece."

She continued, "This is what moms do for their kids. So you think you grew a candy cane. I was trying to create magic. Now, I have no tooth."
Teigen continued to update her followers on the tooth journey, revealing that she had to go to "a school recital" for Miles with a missing tooth. The model ended the video by sharing selfies with the fully grown candy canes set to "Just the Way You Are" by Bruno Mars .
Teigen's husband, John Legend , was quick to comment on her Instagram post, sharing three crying laughing face emojis. Other commenters praised Teigen for posting an honest portrayal of motherhood.
