Yesterday afternoon, Hadid was photographed leaving The Connaught Hotel in nothing ritzier than a second-hand turtleneck–purchased for just $35 from Avias Vintage on Depop a couple years ago—with a pair of selvedge denim Levi's 501s and sockless Gucci horsebit Jordaan loafers: a more recent iteration of the house's horsebit-embellished flats that were first launched in 1953. In other words, a shoe not just for this particular season's tastes, but for the ages.
