Tested And Reviewed For 2025

If you've ever wanted to smell good enough to eat, it might be time to start spritzing on one of the best gourmand perfumes. "Gourmand" literally translates into someone who loves to eat, but in the scent world, it means a fragrance that uses notes that smell like edible ingredients. Common perfumes like vanilla scents and citrus fragrances are all examples of gourmand perfumes, but that doesn't mean they're all sweet and dessert-like. "I instantly fall for a fragrance that is sweet with honey or vanilla, on top of a fresh green note like sage, or even citrus like orange blossom," says Autumne West, the National Beauty Director of Nordstrom. Notes like cognac, matcha, and cardamon are also very common, and can result in a fresher, or more woodsy scent.

This perfume literally looks through rose-colored glass, and maybe that's why it's so effortlessly romantic. Its notes contain everything you need for a first date: strawberry, rose, and a little wood.

A beauty expert says : "For the longest, I thought I didn't enjoy gourmand perfumes; however, Coach Love introduced me to the sweet side. It was love, literally, at first spritz! It's the perfect date night perfume and anytime I wear it, I get flooded with compliments. " – Danielle James , beauty expert

If you're always craving summertime, invest in this gelato-inspired perfume. With notes of whipped cream and cotton candy, you'll want to spritz this right into your mouth.

An expert reviewer says : "Before Beyoncé began wearing her soon-to-be-released Renaissance fragrance, she wore Kilian Paris Angels' Share. Between being one of Queen B's favorites and being made using real cognac, it's become an instant classic." – Sarah Maberry , Firstfinds commerce writer and trending products expert

Women Posed For Selfie Before Stealing Baby Formula, Household Goods At North Lauderdale Publix...

NORTH LAUDERDALE, FLA. (WSVN) - Authorities are searching for multiple people involved in two separate thefts at a Publix in North Lauderdale, including one group of women who took a selfie before stealing nearly $1,000 in baby formula, according to authorities.

Investigators said surveillance cameras captured clear video of the subjects involved in both thefts at the supermarket located at 8140 W. McNab Road.

"Nowadays there's camera everywhere. Two separate surveillance videos of two separate thefts," said Broward Sheriff's Office spokesperson Gerdy St. Louis.

The security footage shows the four women as they removed baby formula from the shelves and placed it directly into their personal bags. One of the subjects put a formula into her shirt before she walked out.

BSO said the women were last seen wearing distinctive clothing: the woman who snapped the selfie wore all white and carried a brown paper bag; another wore a light hoodie, gray pants, and slides; a third wore a black shirt, gray hoodie, yellow pants and was carrying a purple handbag; and the fourth was dressed in all black with white designs, while carrying a baby and a white-and-black handbag.

In a separate incident at the same store, a different theft occurred at around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 11. Surveillance footage shows a woman in a yellow tank top and multi-colored headwrap loading a shopping cart with bath tissue, wipes, Clorox products, laundry detergent and a black trash can suspected to contain additional stolen items.

"Detectives believes it's her accomplice," said St. Louis. "And the individuals then left the store without paying for the products."

I Tried TikTok's High- ⁘ Low-Contrast Makeup Trends

If you're on the fashion corner of TikTok , you might remember the color analysis trend that dominated the FYP in early 2023. Every content creator and their mother signed up for color consultations , which determined their season (spring, summer, autumn, or winter) based on their skin, hair, and eye color, and transformed their closets as a result. Now, color analysis has made its way to BeautyTok in the form of high- and low-contrast makeup.

Like the FashionTok craze, this theory suggests you should do your makeup according to your contrast level — aka the difference between the tone of your hair, skin, and eyes. In 2024, French makeup artist Alieenor introduced this concept to her 253,000 followers as a means to find the makeup that works best for you . She described each level's features using photos of Taylor Swift, Emma Watson, and Anne Hathaway, who have low, medium, and high contrasts, respectively.

With help from Alieenor's TikTok filter, I learned I'm high-contrast because of the difference between my hair and skin tones (I have dark brunette hair, pale skin, and green eyes). However, my beauty routine is on the simpler side, so I still wanted to give both routes a try with this knowledge in mind.

Prepped with Alieenor's videos, plus tutorials from content creators Jasmine Adetunji and Neru Shima , I took a stab at a low-contrast look.

A bright under-eye is an essential part of my makeup routine, so I was skeptical when Adetunji said to choose a concealer closer to my skin tone. I added dots of it to the high points of my face, starting with my inner and outer eyelids, forehead, chin, and the tip of my nose. Everywhere I concealed, I baked with a translucent powder.

10 Best Chanel Perfumes Of 2025 (Tried, Tested And Reviewed)

Now, scroll on for all of our top favourites, starting with our number one pick of all. And keep reading for the need-to-know info on choosing the best Chanel perfume for your vanity.

Coco Mademoiselle is far and away the best Chanel perfume, according to our editors. During a blind spritz session, Veronica Lopez, Cosmo US' s sex and relationships editor, immediately knew this was Coco Mademoiselle because it's her personal favourite scent. The notes are all blended seamlessly, so you don't immediately pick up on any specific note or scent family – it just smells clean and dainty (probably thanks to the orange and rose, which balance out the smoky, rich patchouli). If the "clean girl aesthetic" had a scent, it would be this.

THE REVIEWS: "This fragrance smells so clean!" writes one tester. "I receive a lot of compliments and it lasts all day. Well worth buying the largest size."

The best compliment I could ever possibly receive? "You smell good." Which is the very first thing a guy said to me on a date while wearing this perfume last week. Then a random person in line at the grocery store. And then my Uber driver. Then my coworker. The compliments kept coming. And I totally get why. This fresh, citrus perfume is the epitome of summertime. It smells bright and happy – and fellow New Yorkers apparently agreed.

THE REVIEWS: "The frosted glass vessel is absolutely stunning," writes one tester. "Whenever guests see this on my vanity, they compliment the packaging. I love the gorgeous, elegant smell of luxurious florals."

Arguably the most iconic fragrance of all time, Chanel No. 5 is a classic – and it smells like it, too. Yes, it's very strong and powdery and reminded every single tester in our office of their grandmother. But (!) upon learning it was Chanel No. 5, everyone said they felt a pang of nostalgia, knowing a sister, aunt, cousin, or family member who wore this and was immediately transported to another time.

9 Classic Nail Polish Colors That Never Go Out Of Style

All products featured on Vogue are independently selected by our editors. However, we may receive compensation from retailers and/or from purchases of products through these links.

When it comes to an elegant manicure , classic nail polish colors never go out of style. They're the kinds of hues that can't help but look polished, immediately lending an element of class to your entire beauty look. Best of all, a classic nail polish shade looks gorgeous with almost every outfit—any time of year. Need proof? Here are nine classic nail polish shades that are as chic as they are refined, to be worn wherever, whenever, and with whatever.

A quintessential manicure color that even Marilyn Monroe couldn't live without, the elegance of this shade lies in its very specific hue. Cardinal red is glamorous, bold, and eternally chic—just like Monroe herself.

Of all the brown tones, chocolate is a sure bet for a refined manicure. Soft and lush, chocolate reveals its potential on every complexion. As shown here, Kendall Jenner recently wore a chocolate manicure in the streets of New York.

For a discreet manicure, there's nothing better than a neutral shade that matches your own skin tone —the closer the hue, the more it elongates the fingers. See: Jennifer Lopez at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival for proof.

A favorite of Dua Lipa , Billie Eilish, Cara Delevingne, and more, black is an undeniably timeless choice for a show-stopping manicure. Though it's certainly bold, it's neutral enough to match almost any look—as seen here on Janelle Monae at the Thom Browne show in 2020.

Deep and velvety, burgundy brings a real magnetism to the hands while infusing them with eternal glamour, as illustrated by Elizabeth Olsen .

For the most creative souls, Klein blue is a brilliant option. Energetic and refined, it's a classic in the nail repertoire—especially for Selena Gomez , whose nails are regularly painted with Klein.

Far from being a flash-in-the-pan trend, navy blue is well known for its elegance, as evidenced by Hailey Bieber .

Miu Miu's ‘Tales And Tellers' Exhibition Heads To New York City

Upon entering, everyone's eyes took a moment to adjust inside the barely-lit venue before taking in the expansive scene before them. Guests were immediately met by a cacophony of noise and flashing lights, setting the tone for the experience in front of the first station, a secretary-like desk that played host to the character "Jean."

The exhibition—conceived by multi-disciplinary artist Goshka Macuga and curated by Elvira Dyangani Ose, the director of MACBA Contemporary Art Museum in Barcelona—was originally performed in Paris in October 2024 and is part of the artist's ongoing collaboration with the brand. Macuga previously linked up with Miu Miu for its spring 2025 runway collection, creating a video installation and newspaper, titled "Truthless Times," spotlighting the power of misinformation across mediums.

Purposefully fragmented in format, but meticulously choreographed, each station, whether it was performed by a stand up comic or a manic pixie dream girl in a vibrant fur coat, animated the characters on the screens behind them—hence the concept of a teller and their tales. While we watched an actress lament over not being able to memorize her lines, a downtown It girl whizzed past on her skateboard. As a witch performed her transcendence ritual, her humming was overpowered a singer's hypnotic ballad.

"In Paris, we had 105 performers who worked over the course of five days," says Macuga. In comparison, New York's cast numbered 80, but in a much smaller space with only 48 hours to prepare. Even while Macuga speaks, the choreographer, Fabio Cherstich, diligently tracks the models with his eyes. When forming initial ideas, the duo wanted to evoke the feeling of being chased through the installation. "We started with a very precise conversation about the meaning of what she was doing, the possibilities of what we were doing together, and how to develop it in a space," Cherstich tells ELLE. "As a theater and opera director, I can bring something that is a concept into something that is an expression—an exchange between bodies with a specific energy using the music, the sound, and the light."

Typologien” At Fondazione Prada Explores German Photography

Opened in 2015 (the Torre building joined in 2018), Fondazione Prada functions as the fashion house's cultural hub. The design, by Rotterdam-based Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) and led by the maverick architect Rem Koolhaas, is pretty spectacular. Built on the site of a former early 20th-century gin distillery in Largo Isarco, an industrial area in Milan, the buildings blend old and new, industry and art, for a complex and dynamic space that brilliantly communicates its place as a platform for open discourse on arts and ideas. (As a side note, for anyone interested in culture, a trip to Milan should include a visit to Fondazione Prada.)

The 600-plus images on show at "Typologien" are organized typologically rather than chronologically, with the curatorial direction inviting us to view this turbulent time in Germany's history—and the role and scope of photography—through multiple lenses. Though varied in approach, the works on show here are united by a shared intent: to classify, to order, to make sense of the world through image. The architecture certainly adds another layer of intrigue. These are clear, quiet spaces, a system of suspended walls offering geometric partitions to instigate unexpected dialogues between artists and artistic practices—and time.

The idea of "typology," a system first used in 17th and 18th-century botany to classify and study plants, found its way into German photography in the early part of the last century. And while typology is by nature a rigid, formal framework, it has somewhat allowed for surprising connections between German artists across generations, and through to the digital age.

The exhibition opens with Karl Blossfeldt (1865–1932), one of the first artists to adapt the classification system used in botanical studies to photography. His detailed plant atlas also represented a clear moment for "New Objectivity," the movement born during the Weimar Republic to promote clarity and documentation of realism, with photography seen as a medium to explore the very idea of typology.

The blinged-out kicks are expected to be released later this month on the SNKRS app and at select retailers with a retail price of $1,000 per, Footwear News.

According to the outlet, the sneakers duplicate the color scheme of the original "Shadow" edition. The black and grey colorway is completely covered in Swarovski stones of the same hue. The size of each stone is dependent on the placement, with the Wings logo crafted from metal on the back. Although the special edition shoes are a women's release, it is expected to be released with an extended size run.

Last year, Nike and Swarovski teamed up for a Nike Air Max Plus collaboration with WNBA star Arike Ogunbowale. According to Sports Illustrated, the Swarovski x Nike Air Max Plus "Moonlight" was issued as an exclusive silhouette. Since 2017, the two entities have joined forces for Swarovski versions of classic Air Max models, such as gold and silver Air Max 97s.

The limited-edition sneakers were sold exclusively at Foot Locker in women's sizes ranging from 5-14.5 for $450.

The athleisure and sportswear retailer recently revealed its spring/summer 2025, Stay in Rotation, campaign.

Starring Ella Mai and Lil Tecca, the two artists joined rapper and collegiate basketball star Flau'Jae Johnson and select influencers to highlight their favorite styles from Nike, Jordan Brand, On, ASICS, and more.

"For me, style means feeling both comfortable and confident – so teaming up with Foot Locker for the 'Stay in Rotation' campaign just felt right to me," explained the "Boo'd Up" performer. "I love wearing pieces that are easy to dress up or down, whether I'm traveling to perform on stage or spending time with my friends, and these New Balance sneakers deliver every time."

Inside Gnuhr's Ultralight Vision

When contemplating the design philosophy of gnuhr, Abbas identifies two natural enemies to functionality: use cases and price. By designing items driven by utilitarian components, stylish sensibilities, and a genderless perspective, a greater level of functionality is achieved as items cross over from one context to another with ease. Take, for example, the Shag Sweater and crossbody Sling bag, the former of which balances a graceful touch and sheerness with versatile thermoregulating properties while the latter welcomes everything from hiking essentials to groceries. gnuhr products are supposed to be an active, go-anywhere piece of a user's daily tool kit instead of pieces that sit in their closet waiting for the perfect occasion

Kerry Washington opted for colorblocking in black and white on Wednesday for her appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" in New York City. The actress chatted with the eponymous late-night talk show host about her new film "Shadow Force," her Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony and more.

Washington wore an archival piece courtesy of Fendi, a dress from the label's spring 2008 collection. The midi dress featured special circular embroideries in white.

Set against a black fabric with knitted details, Washington's look incorporated classic elements with a contemporary edge. The dress included a halter neckline with the white embroideries acting as straps.

The same white embroidery motif was featured at the center of the bodice, and in a randomized cascading pattern on the skirt. As for accessories, Washington went minimal, keeping the focus on the archived dress from the Italian luxury fashion house .

As for her glam, Washington's hair was styled in a sleek, wavy ponytail with bold fringe to frame her face. Her makeup included such highlights as bold brows, smokey eyes and a berry lip. Washington regularly collaborates with stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn.

Prior to her appearance on the late-night program, Washington attended the 2025 Met Gala on Monday. The actress was among a bevy of A-list guests and celebrity attendees for the annual event, which takes place ahead of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's spring exhibition.

For the occasion, Zangardi and Haenn styled Washington in a Simkhai look with Chopard jewelry. The ensemble featured a semisheer skirt and plunging tailored blazer with a backless detail.

Low: Kate Spade's Hinge Bangle Offers Affordable Alternative To Cartier's Hollywood-Staple...

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, The Hollywood Reporter may receive an affiliate commission.

Stackable gold bangles have the ultimate staying power, as evidenced by Cartier's cult-classic Love Bracelet . First introduced in 1969, the iconic piece of jewelry has only continued to gain momentum over its 56 years of existence.

Zara Taps Steven Meisel and 50 Iconic Models (Cindy! Christy! Naomi! Linda! Twiggy!) for Shoppable Anniversary Campaign

And while a fair share of alternatives can feel a bit too spot-on, the lack of engraving and logos on Kate Spade's Set in Stone Hinged Bangle helps achieve an equally timeless and on-trend arm candy look for a fraction of the price. The bracelet is adorned with round crystals set in either 12k yellow gold-plated metal, 12k rose gold-plated metal or rhodium-plated metal.

While there's no comparison to Cartier's 18k yellow, rose or white gold construction, priced at well under $100, Kate Spade's version is an undeniably strong contender. And right now, both Bloomingdale's and Nordstrom are offering limited-time deals on the best-selling style. Through May 11, the former dropped its price from $58 to $43.50 and the latter from $68 to $51.

For those who prefer an even more streamlined look, Kate Spade makes a crystal-free 12k-gold plated version called the Idiom Heart of Gold Bangle , also discounted by 25 percent for a limited time at both department stores.

And while Cartier and Kate Spade's bangles fall at drastically different ends of the spectrum, there are a selection of brands that offer a middle ground: fine jewelry that's still a fraction of the name-brand cost. Two good examples of this — that are also temporarily reduced — are pieces from Ring Concierge and Saks Fifth Avenue Collection . Shop them below:

Yves Saint Laurent Museum ⁘ ARQA

One thing art and fashion have in common is that they are best exhibited in windowless rooms. A new home for the collections of the Fondation Pierre Bergé-Yves Saint Laurent had no choice but to keep the sun at bay: exhibition galleries, conservation areas, and auditoriums are opaque by necessity.

Each of these functions is here housed in a distinct volume, allowing the building to emerge organically as a sculptural assemblage of blocks: its external shape deriving organically from its internal functions. The result is decidedly contemporary. The interplay of delicate bends and bold strokes, of wide curves and sharp angles that characterize the design was inspired by drawings and patterns uncovered in Yves Saint Laurent's archives: plucked from its context, the charcoal delineation of a reefer jacket's sleeve or collar may resemble an architectural sketch or a technical draft. This composition of straight and anfractuous lines is epitomized by the central patio a cube in which a precisely circular void has been carved out.

Despite its streamlined aesthetic, this roofless patio recalls the inner courtyards around which Moroccan houses are traditionally articulated: deeply anchored in its context, the museum could not have seen the light of day anywhere else.

Hence the opacity of its facades, which protects visitors from the sun's prodigality; the building's orientation (exhibition spaces to the north, conservation areas underground), designed to withstand the punishing temperatures of Marrakech; and the authentic palette of colors and materials. The terrazzo that covers the floors and envelops the museum's base on all sides, an aggregate of local stones and marbles, seems to swell up from the depths of the earth's mantle like a mighty wave. Above, the exterior walls are clad in terra-cotta bricks produced locally from Moroccan soil in olive waste powered ovens.

Their careful imbrication evokes the thread of a fine fabric the facade thus becomes a garment, covering the building's volumes with a fine lace of reds.

Charlotte Tilbury Launches ‘Shapewear For Lips' – It Sculpts And Plumps For '90s Kate Moss Look

Charlotte Tilbury has worked with so many stars you'd need a NASA telescope to keep up, but there's one famous muse who shines brighter than anyone else. We mean, of course, Kate Moss – Charlotte's original '90s icon and the woman who defined her iconic nude lip glam.

Kate is synonymous with Tilbury's classic Pillow Talk nude lip , and now Charlotte has circled back to her early days with Moss for a 2025 re-spin of their legendary 90s lippie look. Charlotte has dug into her archives to create a 'shapewear for lips' system, which recreates Kate's pouty look on, well, anyone's face.

While the professional version doubtless involved hours of artful blending and contouring , the civilian option is all about faking it. First, there's a new double-ended Lip Cheat Contour Duo Liner , with a nude Fill shade to colour in the lips and a slightly darker Sculpt liner to create the illusion of instantly plumper lips. (If you remember the old shadow-play shading trick from school art class, you'll get the idea.)

'Kate Moss lips' can be slightly ambitious ask if you don't happen to be a supermodel. Which, last time I checked, I wasn't. However, if anyone's going to get me slightly closer to catwalk ready, it's Charlotte Tilbury.

I initially checked out her new Super Nudes collection at the brand's new flagship in London's Covent Garden , just a short wiggle, strut and turn from Good Housekeeping's office. Goodness, it's the most ridiculously glamorous beauty store I've ever been in, from the Skin Spa ( Magic Cream facial, anyone?) to the plush, rose-tinted Pillow Talk play room. As Charlotte herself might say: 'DARLINGS, it's GORGEOUS!'

I was ushered downstairs to the Old Hollywood-esque beauty boudoir, where the brand holds its masterclasses and makeovers. I entered, fully intending to have only a Super Nudes lip demo from one of the pro team's MUAs, but before I knew it, I'd surrendered to the full Tilbury glam-up, with gleamy cheek contour, bronzing a-plenty, smoked-out eyes and lashings of full-fat mascara.
