A Nordstrom sale is always worth perusing online, and right now it's a good one. While browsing its half-yearly sale event, I saw products in every department reduced by as much as 65 percent — and they're from the brands that you actually want to shop from, too. In the womenswear markdowns alone (always the strongest section), I spotted on-sale Free People and Caslon. There's also a nice mix of big brands — like Le Creuset and Mini Boden — and everyday luxuries (Calvin Klein underwear, and Egyptian-cotton towels ) across the other departments of menswear, beauty, home, and kids. To save you trawling through the hundreds of deals, I've scanned through every department to find the very best markdowns across the site. I'll be regularly updating this post with new deals, and my advice is to act quickly if you want to bag something: In a Nordstrom sale, stock always moves fast.

It was tough to choose a best deal from the womenswear section, but in the end I decided a 100 percent linen shirt for 30 percent off is an excellent price. For a kids ' summer option, a flippy skirt is something you can style over and over again, and I spotted this sweet one by Mini Boden for less than $20. Another summer wardrobe staple? Birkenstocks. Sooner or later, you're going to give in to them — so you might as well do it and save 40 percent.
It's beauty sets' time to shine in the Nordstrom sale. They're a great pick if you're gifting, but also if you're just looking to sample a new brand, or stock up on minis before your next vacation (and the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow set is just a good price to stock up with in general).
