Nine years ago, the supermodel slipped her curves into an impossibly revealing black dress, going low-cut and braless as she ditched her underwear. Mixing glittery fabrics with sheer paneling, Emily turned heads at the Harper's Bazaar Icons Party, making instant headlines for her daring look.
Emily's statement defending her dress only launched more comments, many of which slammed the 34-year-old's dress. One fan even said that Emily dresses "like trash" as they blasted her exposing outfit.

The Daily Mail was quick to publish Emily's 2022 statement as she spoke out years later, calling her look "the most controversial dress I've ever worn." Speaking to Harper's Bazaar about her Julian Macdonald number, the mom of one said: "It's actually very comfortable and simple, and I feel great."
Emily also admitted having to clue that her dress had "caused" so much of a "scene," continuing: "I can remember somebody called it extremely vulgar,' Emily recalled. 'And, like it became this huge like controversy on the internet." Fans weren't too kind in the comments.
