Lush Cosmetics will reopen its Queen Victoria Building (QVB) flagship store in Sydney on Saturday, September 13, unveiling a redesigned space that highlights the brand's focus on fresh, handmade products and interactive retail experiences.
First opened in 1997 as Lush's inaugural Australian location, the QVB store has grown to become the company's busiest in the country, welcoming more than 278,000 customers last year.
Its new layout incorporates sustainability elements, including reclaimed and recycled materials such as energy-efficient glass benchtops and low-waste fixtures.
Alongside its product range, the store now offers tailored services including skincare consultations and a dedicated scalp care space for massage and guidance.
Workshops and events will also be part of the store's regular program, ranging from bath bomb making and henna hair colouring to skincare classes and sessions on the skin's microbiome. According to Lush, these initiatives are designed to foster creativity, education and connection among customers.
To celebrate the reopening, the first 30 customers each day from 13 to 26 September will receive a complimentary goodie bag with any purchase.
The store will also offer early access to Lush's festive collection, featuring the return of Snow Fairy and more than 80 Christmas-themed products marking the company's 30th anniversary.
The relaunch includes exclusive experiences, with QVB among only two Australian stores to introduce the Lush Bath Bot, a device combining fragrance, light and sound for at-home spa treatments. A special bath bomb making workshop will also take place on opening weekend, allowing customers to craft their own Snow Fairy Bath Bomb.
