Rapper Lil Nas X, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, appeared on the May 8 episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show . When Jennifer Hudson pulled pictures of the rapper's previous Met Gala outfits, he immediately replied, jokingly telling Hudson to take them down.
When the host asked which look he disliked, Nas said he liked all except his 2023 Met Gala look. According to Billboard that year, the theme was in honor of Karl , paying tribute to the late Karl Lagerfeld, the Chanel creative director.
Lil Nas X talked about the music video for HOTBOX , the lead single from his upcoming second studio album, Dreamboy . He told Hudson that filming was fun. However, he was going through a breakup then, and it took frequent breaks to cry between filming.
While the release date of Dreamboy is yet to be announced, Lil Nas X released an EP titled Days Before Dreamboy on March 28.
