Ray Wylie Hubbard To Play Robert Earl Keen's Texas Flood Benefit Show

Recently reunited Oklahoma Music Hall of Famers Cross Canadian Ragweed are joining the high-profile lineup of alt-country acts playing " Robert Earl Keen and Friends: Applause For The Cause ," a benefit concert in response to the devastating floods in Kerr County, Texas .

Presented by Buc-ee's , a beloved chain of Texas-based travel centers, "Robert Earl Keen and Friends: Applause for the Cause," is set for Aug. 28 at Whitewater Amphitheater outside of New Braunfels, Texas.

Plus, Ragweed will headline the opening night of the two-day Professional Bull Riders' Last Cowboy Standing July 21-22 at Colorado State University's Canvas Stadium in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Red Dirt rockers are playing the bull-riding and concert event July 21 in place of superstar Tim McGraw, who was forced to cancel his performance due to a recent back surgery, while Jon Pardi will headline on July 22.

Along with Ragweed, the Oklahoma natives and longtime Texas residents Ray Wylie Hubbard and Jason Boland are on the lineup for "Robert Earl Keen and Friends: Applause For The Cause" in August.

"This is a star-studded lineup with music starting in the mid-afternoon and lasting far into the night," Keen said in a statement. "We must help everyone as much as we can, for as long as we can."

The one-night-only event will raise money for the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country .
