Shakira has just dropped a haircare line exclusively in-store at Ulta Beauty featuring a variety of products, such as curl cream and hair oil to everyday shampoo and conditioner.
Billboard says that Shakira's hair care brand "isima embraces hair diversity with what we like to call a 'more is more' approach, with a formula backed by clinical results that guarantee these products actually work."
The name of the brand is also a nod to her Latin heritage, which means "very" or "extremely," and how she wants the products to perform on different hair types.
"For many women like me who have very complicated hair — porous, dry, over-processed, curly, wavy — we need more," she said in an interview with Allure . "There's that saying that less is more. No, in our case, more is more."
Shakira gave InStyle a rundown of how two products from the collection work that she uses every day, particularly before going on stage.
"[ Delicia Reparative Hair Oil ] controls my frizz and adds shine. This is something I use almost every day and definitely for every show," Shakira told InStyle . "And [Curls Don't Lie Curl Perfecting Cream] is what I use to define my curls before a show."
One reviewer of Delicia expressed how "obsessed" they are about the oil, saying, "What I love most about this product is that it doesn't weigh my hair down or leave a greasy finish. Instead, it makes my hair silky, shiny, and much easier to style."
